Introduction

The ZFQ-1 type all-weather explosion-proof flame-arresting breather valve produced by our company is currently a relatively new product in the domestic market. This product integrates a flame arrester and a breather valve into one unit. Its innovative structure is the first of its kind in China. It is an essential safety device for petrochemical storage tanks. Its greatest advantages lie in its excellent flame-arresting performance, stable breathing performance, simple structure, light weight, and ease of maintenance. This product is applicable to Class A oil products with a flash point below 28°C and Class B oil products with a flash point below 60°C, such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, crude oil, benzene, ethanol,芳烃 (here translated as "aromatics" to fit context), sulfur, and other media stored in tanks. It operates normally in temperature environments ranging from -35°C to +60°C.

Features

  1. The product has a reasonable structure, aesthetically pleasing appearance. The outer shell is made of cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, cast aluminum alloy, and is corrosion-resistant.
  2. The valve disc and valve seal ring are made of polytetrafluoroethylene material, which offers excellent resistance to low temperatures and freezing. The flame-arresting element is made of stainless steel material, featuring strong corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and explosion-proof performance, with outstanding technical superiority.
  3. The valve is a ventilation and flame-arresting device installed on fixed roof tanks. It reduces storage medium evaporation losses and controls tank pressure. Its function allows explosive gases to be vented while preventing flame propagation into the tank.
  4. The valve has a large ventilation capacity, minimal leakage, corrosion resistance, and good freeze resistance.
  5. It can automatically adjust the internal and external pressure difference of the storage tank.
  6. The flame-arresting layer is easy to inspect and clean, and the installation is convenient. There is no need to disassemble the breather valve during inspection.
  7. It passes hydraulic pressure tests

Performance

  1. It has qualified low-temperature and freeze-resistance performance. When operated at -42°C for 2 hours, there is no deformation observed in the pressure plate, vacuum valve disc, and sealing ring, fully meeting the design requirements.
  2. At a high temperature of 36°C, it can be operated continuously for 72 hours for 10,000 times. There is no wear or damage marks on the contact surfaces of the pressure plate, vacuum valve disc, and guide rod. The guide rod moves up and down smoothly without any sticking.
  3. It has qualified explosion-proof performance. It successfully withstands flame in 13 consecutive explosion-proof performance tests.
