The ZSHV/ZDRV series eccentric ball valves feature a unique eccentric structure, characterized by compact design, excellent sealing performance, and long service life. They possess both regulating and cut-off functions and are widely used in industries such as chemical, electric power, textile, food, pharmaceutical, and papermaking for cutting off or regulating process media.
The nominal pressure ratings for this series of products are PN (MPa) 1.6, 2.5, 4.0, 6.4, 10.0 (150lb, 300lb, 600lb); the valve bore range is DN (mm) 25–400 (1"–16"); suitable for fluid temperatures ranging from -60 to +450°C across multiple levels. The metal-sealed type has sealing ratings of Class IV and V, while the soft-sealed type reaches Class VI, achieving zero leakage. The flow characteristics are approximately equal percentage.
Features
The valve body is manufactured using integral casting technology, resulting in a compact structure, small volume, and good pressure resistance.
The V-type ball core is eccentrically mounted. When closed, the ball core generates an eccentric force that presses it against the sealing ring, achieving optimal sealing. When opened, the ball core rapidly disengages from the sealing ring, effectively preventing sealing ring wear.
Sealing ring options include soft seals and metal seals to meet different working conditions. Titanium zirconium alloy brazed sealing surfaces can be used for some harsher working conditions.
Due to the eccentric structure, the operating torque is significantly reduced, and the allowable pressure difference across the valve is increased.
The ball core surface undergoes hardening treatment to enhance wear and erosion resistance, prolonging service life.
The flow path is simple, with high flow capacity and an adjustable ratio of up to 100.
The V-type ball core and sealing ring provide a shearing action upon closure, capable of cutting fibers in the media and expelling particulate matter, making them particularly suitable for media such as paper pulp, sewage, and other fiber or particle-containing fluids, as well as general media.
Standard actuators (pneumatic piston type, electrically interchangeable) are available
