The ZSHWX/ZAJWX/ZSHWF/ZAJWF series rubber-lined and fluorine-lined butterfly valves are slurry-dedicated valves developed to support large-scale coal-fired power plant desulfurization and denitrification units. They are also applicable for the transportation of liquids and gases (including steam) in various industrial pipeline systems, particularly in environments with corrosive media. These environments include those with strongly corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, chlorine gas, strong alkalis, and king-water (a highly corrosive solution). The products feature excellent cut-off performance, strong corrosion resistance, and long service life.
Features
The rubber-lined butterfly valves are lined with EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) inside the valve body, offering strong corrosion resistance and excellent resistance to flushing, resulting in a long service life. The valve plate material is available in duplex stainless steel 2205, 1.4529, etc., providing strong resistance to chloride ion corrosion (withstanding up to 40,000 ppm of chloride ions), excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, and high surface hardness. They are particularly suitable for slurry media that are corrosive, contain particulate matter, and are prone to flushing, such as ash slurry. Depending on the working conditions, Austenitic stainless steel can also be used. The combination of a bright annealed surface valve plate and an EPDM seal with good chloride ion resistance, strong toughness, and elasticity achieves complete sealing, with gas tightness tests showing zero leakage. The flow resistance is low, and the nominal flow coefficient is large. The butterfly valve products adopt a wafer-type connection.
The fluorine-lined butterfly valves feature a valve plate lined with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with a spherical sealing surface, paired with a silicone rubber gasket at the base of the valve seat to adjust the sealing performance of the valve. The valve is lightweight in operation, offers tight sealing performance, and has an extended service life. It can be used for rapid cut-off or flow regulation. The valve body adopts a split design, with the sealing between the valve plate at both ends of the valve shaft and the rotating base surface between the valve plate and the valve shaft controlled by fluorine rubber. This design achieves a compact product structure, attractive appearance, and reasonable process, ensuring reliable performance. The closed connection ensures that the valve shaft does not come into contact with the medium inside the flow channel. The split valve body connection not only facilitates shaft replacement in pipelines but also allows for convenient and quick adjustment of the sealing ratio. The flow resistance is low, and the nominal flow coefficient is large. The butterfly valve products adopt a wafer-type connection
